Hockey News

The Fitzroy Harbour Community Association operates an outdoor rink each winter, with assistance from a grant from the City of Ottawa.  Shinny hockey and public skating are offered throughout the winter, free of charge. Please respect the skating schedule and stay off the ice when required.

The FHCA also operates two hockey programs:

Children's Outdoor Hockey League ("OHL"):  Age group teams are organized for boys and girls ages 5 and up to participate in a recreational outdoor hockey program.  Each team has approximately one practice a week and one game a week versus teams from other West Carleton communities.  For more information, contact Robert at 613-623-6853.

Women's Outdoor Hockey:  This league plays Wednesday nights, and is a fun, non-competitive evening for ladies 18+ to enjoy a game of recreational hockey each week, with refreshments afterward.  For more information, contact Debbie at 613-622-5959

Men's Outdoor Hockey:  This league plays Thursday nights, and is a fun, non-competitive evening for men 18+ to enjoy a game of recreational hockey. For more information, contact Mitch at 613-623-6171.
